We’ve been Fools for Flowers for years. Getting excited for the first sprouts of green leaves in the late winter, blooming into daffodils; some of which are plain and simple and others complex, frilly and fragrant. Next are the snowdrops with drooping heads of white. Tulips come next with their bold heads of purple, orange, pink and red. Anemone with their cheerful petals and dark centers last for weeks in a vase. Ranunculus with its layers and layers of petals and dazzeling colors will next fill our buckets with luck! (Last year we had a crop failure due to deep freeze damage and rabbits. ) Campanula with its bell shaped blooms and endless snapdragons in a variety of colors and shapes are just starting to bud up. Who wouldn’t be a Fool for Flowers?
