Dried Floral Wreaths & Swags
The 2025 Dried Floral Season will begin on November 1 continuing while supplies last; typically until December 20.
Each season, as flowers bloom at their peek, hundreds of stems are collected and air dried. Our favorite varieties: amaranth, celosia, feverfew, goldenrod, grasses, gomphrena, holly berries, hydrangea, larkspur, lavender, lunaria, nigella, poppy pods, rudbeckia, statice, strawflowers, sunflowers, & yarrow. We mix our “drieds” with fresh locally grown “greens” of boxwood, eucalyptus, magnolia, sweet annie, white cedar & pine. We add pine cones and feathers to create everlasting pieces of art.
“How Long Do They Last?” - is the most common question.
“Years” - is our common answer.
For best results: keep items out of direct sunlight! items hung inside will last longer than those hung outside. mist sparingly with water during dry periods. Materials will become brittle over time; best not move them once they are in place. Birds love to nest in them - consider Moving them away from doors in early february.
All Turkey and Pheasant Feathers are donated by VA Licensed hunting friends; Chicken & Guinea Feathers are from farming friends
