Valentines' Day Workshop Plans

We had a wonderful season last year. The fields were plentiful and the flowers grew well! While we pride ourselves in growing, arranging and selling the freshest flowers in the area, we also dry hundreds of blooms for use in the late fall and winter months.

With the holiday season behind us and spring drawing ever nearer, we thought it would be fun to you play with these dried goodies. We have gorgeous celosia, gomphrena, hydrangea and grasses. The pussy willows have just been cut along with stems of apple and peach. We’ll mix in some fresh rosemary and eucalyptus and help you create a hand tied bespoke bouquet along with a table arrangement that can be filled with texture and color that can last months.

This Valentines Day weekend, we will be offering a Dried Flower Workshop to be hosted at The Girl & The Raven Coffee Bar / Cafe in downtown Abingdon, VA. Visit our website www.bluedoorgarden.net for details under the WORKSHOP tab.

$50 registration includes a tasty snack and drink from the coffee bar, a hand tied bouquet and a table arrangement that you build yourself using organically grown materials harvested at Blue Door Garden. A full cash bar will be available.

For consideration of everyone, face masks will be suggested when not eating and drinking.
